Predictions 🔮
Two ways to forecast — always with points, never with money.
1 · Prediction cards (in the feed)
These cards ask you to forecast which option will be leading the vote when the card's deadline arrives. Commit your forecast before seeing the curve. When the deadline passes, the prediction settles automatically against the real result — get it right and you earn the payout, boosted by your plan bonus.
2 · The Prediction Arena (markets)
The Predictions view hosts markets: open questions with outcomes you can stake points on.
- The odds are real — they reflect how the community's points are actually distributed across outcomes (a parimutuel pool). No stakes yet? You'll see "—" until someone takes the first position.
- Your potential payout is shown before you confirm: stake × the odds at that moment.
- Anyone can create a market ("+ New prediction"): question, outcomes, closing date. The creator resolves it when the outcome is known — and can't stake on their own market.
Settlement & payouts
When a market resolves (or a prediction card's deadline passes), winners are paid automatically — you'll see the points land the next time you open the app, with the entry in your points history.
Plan bonus
Winning forecasts earn a bonus on top of the payout: Free +25% · Pro +50% · Pro+ +75%.
A tip on calibration
The system rewards honest confidence, not bravado. Staking everything on long shots feels heroic and loses points; consistent, calibrated forecasts compound. Superforecasters aren't bold — they're precise.
