Learn cards
A Learn card is a question with 4 options. You commit an answer, and only then the explanation unlocks — whether you got it right or not. This is deliberate: testing yourself before seeing the answer (the "testing effect") builds far stronger memory than re-reading ever could.
Your correct answers count towards community leaderboards and Learn-type challenges.
Learn-in-Loop 🔁
What it is: a shuffled, repeatable practice mode over a set of Learn cards — answer, see what you missed, run it again until it sticks. It's the difference between reading a deck once and actually drilling it.
What makes it safe to fail: nothing is saved. Loop answers never touch the community stats, your points or the leaderboards — it's pure training. Fail as many times as you need.
How a session works
- Pre-start checklist — you first see the list of cards in the loop and can uncheck any you want to skip this round (we remember your choice). Use "Select all" or "Clear" to move fast.
- Practice — cards come shuffled, one at a time; you answer and immediately see if you were right plus the explanation.
- Results — at the end you get your score and the exact cards you missed.
- Repeat — run it again with just the missed ones to close the gap.
Two kinds of loop
- Community loop — the community owner flags which Learn cards go in the loop (they tap "+ Loop" on a card, or add all at once). Members open it from the community's Learn-in-Loop button.
- Personal loop — practises the flagged Learn cards from every community you're in, gathered into one deck, so you can drill everything you're learning in one place.
Learn-in-Loop is a Pro feature in the plans roadmap (owner and members) — nothing is charged today.
Finding your level
Some communities tag their Learn cards — for example belt colours in Taekwondo or modules in the startup course. Use the filter row in the community feed to practice exactly your level.
Why the options all look plausible
We hold Learn cards to a standard: all four options are similar in length and style, so you can't guess the answer by spotting "the long one". If a card feels guessable, report it via support — we treat that as a bug.
