SubAlphas (α/…)

Official niche spaces that sit above the categories and shape what you see.

What they are

A SubAlpha (written α/dev, α/running, α/finance…) is a curated home for one niche — the cards, debates and Learn content that fit that world. They're broader than a single community and more focused than a category. You'll see them in the rail at the top of the feed and as a pill on cards that belong to one.

Following a SubAlpha

Tap Follow on a SubAlpha to make it part of your For You feed. The more you follow, the more your feed reflects the niches you actually care about — instead of everything at once. You can follow and unfollow anytime; your choices sync across your devices.

How it shapes your feed

For You blends the SubAlphas you follow with the interests on your profile. Following α/dev and α/finance, for example, pushes AI-model debates and markets cards up your feed and pushes unrelated topics down.

SubAlphas have direct links (like alphavote.app/?s=dev) — handy for sharing a niche with someone. Opening one drops you straight into that space, even before you sign in.

SubAlphas curate; communities are spaces you join, build and run. A card can live in a community and surface under a SubAlpha.
