Getting started
Two minutes from zero to your first reveal.
1 · Create your account
Open alphavote.app and tap Sign up free. You need an email, a unique username and a password — we email you a code to verify. You can also browse as a guest first; the app will invite you to sign up when you try to vote.
2 · Pick your interests
The onboarding asks what you care about (AI, markets, sports, philosophy…). These choices shape your For You feed — you can change them anytime in your profile.
3 · Cast your first vote
Pick any card and choose a position. Optionally attach:
- Confidence — how sure are you?
- Reason — one line defending your choice;
- Horizon — when do you expect to be proven right.
Then hit Commit your vote.
4 · The reveal 💥
Now — and only now — you see the community: the percentages, the leading option, other voters' reasons, and the comments unlock. That's the founding rule of AlphaVote: you think first, the crowd comes second. Curious why? Read the science behind it.
