Help Center โบ Voting & cards
Eight formats, one rule: commit before the reveal.
| Card | What you do |
|---|---|
| ๐ Signal Poll | Pick one position among several options. |
| โก Quick Take | Yes or no โ then defend it. |
| ๐ Compare & Decide | Vote each characteristic, then commit an overall side. |
| ๐ Ranking | Tap items in your order of priority. |
| โญ Rating | Score 1โ5 stars; the community average stays hidden until you rate. |
| ๐ฎ Prediction | Forecast before the curve is revealed โ details here. |
| โ๏ธ Debate | Pick a side, then face the strongest counter-argument. |
| ๐ง Learn Card | Answer first, the explanation unlocks after โ details here. |
Every vote can carry your confidence (low/medium/high), a short reason, and a time horizon. None are mandatory โ but they're what makes your vote worth more than a like. Your reasons appear alongside the results after the reveal (with your name, unless you vote anonymously).
Most cards include the strongest argument from the other side. After you commit, we show it to you ("Change my mind"). Reading the best version of the opposing case is how positions get sharper โ you can turn this off in Settings, but we hope you won't.
What it does: tap the ๐ถ๏ธ chip before committing and your vote counts fully in the results, but your name is never shown to anyone โ other users see "Anonymous".
What it doesn't do: it doesn't make the vote invisible or double-countable. Internally the vote is still tied to your account (that's how we prevent duplicate voting), but your identity is stripped on the server before anything reaches other users' screens.
Use it for sensitive topics where you want your honest signal in the pool without your name on it.
You can only comment on a card after you've committed a position on it. It's a feature, not a bug โ discussion is better when everyone at the table has skin in the game.
Creators can't vote or stake on their own cards and markets โ it keeps the results honest.
